Dr. Anu Raghunathan   Dr. Anu Raghunathan evolved into a Systems Biologist over time! Anu Raghunathan, is currently a Scientist at National Chemical Laboratory in Pune. She was working as a faculty in Infectious Diseases at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY, NY previously. An undying love for biochemistry developed in her undergraduate days led onto specializing in analytical medicinal chemistry in her Masters program. Transforming renewable resources into value added chemicals like lactic acid and diacetyl in her doctoral thesis using microbial fermentation and enzymology was a start of a career in metabolic engineering. Working with pioneers in bio-ethanol production at Sweden & Florida and metabolic reconstruction and analysis experts at San Diego developed a flair for incisive holistic thinking and systems biology.
